e2f Opens New Berlin Office to Serve Europe

e2f, a leading global translation and localization company headquartered in San Jose, California, today announced the opening of a new office in Berlin, Germany. The Berlin office represents the seventh global location for the company, whose operations now spans five continents. The primary purpose for the new office is to build out capacity to serve the English-to-German translation market.
Along with earlier openings in 2016 of locations in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montréal, Canada, the Berlin office now provides closer connections with e2f’s clients in major world markets. Other existing locations include e2f’s U.S. headquarters, as well as France, Madagascar, Mauritius, and Vietnam.

The Berlin office opening follows the success of a major project in Germany for a large travel and leisure website client, announced in June 2016. With a population exceeding 80 million, the German translation market serves as a hub of central European business opportunity. With over 3.5 million people clustered around Berlin itself, the cosmopolitan international capital will naturally allow e2f to draw from a diverse pool of linguistic talent as the company grows.

To lead the German office, Mr. Lopez has brought in Anja Höfs. Ms. Höfs has both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and she had been working as a freelance translator prior to joining e2f.
