What is the fastest-growing language on Instagram?

Available on all mobile platforms, Instagram, the online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service now belonging to Facebook, has become one of the favorite apps of many youngsters around the world. 

Instagram recently released on their blog amazing statistics about the rapidly increasing use of emojis (from the Japanese word 絵文字, literally “picture” (e) + “character” (moji)).

As of April 2015, about 40% of the text on Instagram contains emojis. In some European countries such as Finland, the trend is becoming extreme, with more than 60% of the text containing emojis!

So in a way, emoji is the fastest growing language on Instagram, an international common denominator.
