Actual et actuel

I really should not have to post this because you would think that every translator knows it and pays attention, but I see it way too many times in French translations, so let’s mention it here.

In any case, the word “actual” in English does not, ever, mean “actuel”, but rather “réel”, “exact”, “concret”, “effectif”, etc.

Of course, it’s the same with “actually”, which never means “actuellement”, but rather “en fait”, “à vrai dire”, “vraiment”.
